About me
Rachel is a full time Massage Therapist in the Dublin Therapeutic Massage Clinic. She has been working as a therapist since 2005 and previously worked in the Holistic Healing Centre. She has diplomas in Therapeutic Massage, Sports Massage, Lymph Drainage Massage, Holistic Massage, Indian Head Massage, Aromatherapy and Onsite Massage. She also has CPD certificates in Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques, Orthopedic Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Pregnancy Massage and studied level 1 Clinical Aromatherapy with Rhiannon Lewis. She is also a Reiki Master. One of the reasons Rachel got into massage is that her younger sister suffered with severe back problems when she was a teenager. Rachel’s father, who taught in the Medical School in Trinity College, showed her a few basic techniques which she was able to use on her sister to help relieve some of her chronic pain. It took her a few years to come back to this calling and in 2004 started her first massage course. From that moment onwards she has been constantly training. The reason for this is seeing how beneficial massage work can be overall; from pain to relaxation it helps individuals cope with modern stresses.

Rachel specialises in TMJ (temporal-mandibular joint/jaw) treatments and brings her previous experience of dental nursing into her treatment approach; Rachel has studied many different techniques to help manage this issue.
Rachel keeps herself updated in new ways to improve her techniques so as to benefit her clients. Massage work is her passion.
