There will be 5 workshops in the Sunday afternoon and a refresher first aid course on the Monday

Shiatsu Workshop

with Helena O Loughlin
Helena is the director of Shiatsu College Dublin and is Shiatsu Practitioner & Bio-Energy Practitioner
This workshop will be about learning to recognise where the client’s body is out of balance and how you, as a practitioner, can use some simple, but effective, Shiatsu techniques to regain the body’s natural balance. Helena will use a method called the Body Scan, which is used to sense energy (ki). It is very grounding and relaxing. It will be a hands-on session where everyone can participate.
We will work both physically and energetically to connect with your own presence and openness first. This will help enable you to discover the areas where the client’s body is lacking in energy or the energy is stagnated. In Shiatsu this is called Kyo (empty) or Jitsu (full).
By developing the two hand connection technique of Shiatsu you will explore how we can move this Jitsu(full) into the Kyo(empty).
Students will gain an understanding of:
Simple Do-In practices.
Kyo and Jitsu
Body Energy Balance
The mother hand connection in Shiatsu
Certificates of attendance can be issued.

What is Dramatherapy?
Sometimes people can find it too difficult to  talk about their feelings.  Problems may seem too big to be able to discuss them with anyone in a coherent manner.  Some people are unable to express their emotions in a vocal way.
Dramatherapy is a Creative Arts Therapy. It uses the potential of drama to facilitate growth, creativity, imagination, learning, insight & healing. to read more click here
