The Dingle Marathon took place on Saturday September 4th. Ultra Marathon The Half & Full Marathons had close to 2,000 competitors. The first over the finish line in the Full Marathon was a Co Meath man who did a time of 2hrs 50mins. The Ultra Marathon was completed in a time of 6hrs 22mins by a Russian competitor and this was run over a 50 miles route.

The weather couldn't have been better and just as well as Post-Event massage treatments took place in the car park at the finish line, Many competitors queued for up to 1/2 hour for IMTA members and other massage therapists on standby to sooth the tired, sore and weary limbs. There was a real carnival atmosphere and despite the hard work everyone soaked up the sun and enjoyed the music. Well done to all involved.
